My family and my values.

My husband Sid and I moved to Laramie in 2007. We have two kids in two different ACSD1 schools: Chaitan is in 5th grade at Indian Paintbrush Elementary School, and Annika is in 2nd grade at Slade Elementary School.

I grew up in rural Pennsylvania and Maryland. When Sid and I moved to Laramie, the small-town feel and wide-open spaces felt like coming home, and we knew this is where we wanted to put down roots.

In 2017, along with my parents, we built our own home—painstakingly framing each wall and placing each roof truss over many months. It was a labor of love and a special experience to build a unique, multi-generational home as we put down even more permanent roots in this community that we love.

In my free time, you can find me out on the Schoolyard Trails or Pilot Hill Trails, running with my dog Raju, a LAWS rescue.

I strive to model kindness, civility, empathy, and compassion, and I am committed to bridging divides and working together towards common goals.

I believe in the importance of transparency and listening to constituents.

I believe every child deserves a high-quality education in a safe school environment.
